The primary objective of this project was to create a space synonymous with calm and harmony. The interior was conceived as a sanctuary, a zone of absolute comfort where architecture, light and material harmonize to provide the ideal conditions for quiet and relaxation. As an architect, I believe that luxury in an interior is not opulence but the sense of a perfectly tailored space to human needs, which was the guiding idea of this project.

The biggest asset and the starting point for the entire concept is the impressive ceiling height of the living area. The cathedral ceiling gave the interior a monumental character, which I chose to emphasize rather than dominate. The central element here is the living room lighting design, in which three minimalist light tubes descend from a great height, creating a kind of artistic installation. This vertical accent not only attracts the eye but also introduces rhythm into the interior and serves as an excellent counterbalance to the horizontal line of the expansive, comfortable sofa.

The atmosphere of intimacy and warmth is created by a carefully planned, multi-layered play of light and subtle textures. A concealed LED strip gently washes the surface of the wall finished with structural plaster, highlighting its noble, mineral texture. The entire contemporary living room design is maintained in a coherent, monochromatic color palette. It is precisely these interiors in shades of gray that allow the depth of diverse materials to emerge, from a velvet pouf, through the soft upholstery of the furnishings, to the smooth, cool surfaces of the coffee tables.

This project demonstrates that contemporary minimalism can be extremely rich in sensory experience and fully focused on user comfort. Every element has its place and purpose here, together creating a cohesive whole that calms and envelops.
