A project that is the quintessence of contemporary architectural thinking, where luxury is defined by simplicity, quality and a considered concept. As the architect, I was tasked with creating an open-plan living area that would not merely serve as a backdrop for everyday life, but as an integral, inspiring part of it. The presented arrangement is a manifestation of a minimalist approach, in which space- and light-oriented design is key. High, vaulted ceilings open up the interior, giving it breathing room and a monumental character. This interior is an ideal proposal for those seeking inspiration for a contemporary living room with dining area, where every detail has its rationale and the whole composition radiates calm and harmony, creating perfect conditions for living and relaxation.

The heart of the project is a conscious and consistent work with material and color. We opted for a refined, monochromatic color palette based on noble shades of white and gray, which allowed us to reveal and emphasize the geometry of the room. The purity of white on the walls provides an excellent backdrop for sculptural furniture forms and graphite and black accents. A unifying element for the entire open space is the uniform, smooth microcement floor, which brings raw elegance to the interior and serves as an ideal base for further design interventions. To avoid visual monotony, we relied on a dialogue of textures. The smoothness of the floor and ceilings was deliberately contrasted with a structural decorative wall, which gives the interior depth and a unique, haptic dimension. Such a monochromatic color palette and play of textures is a recipe for a timeless and refined interior.

Functionality in the open plan was achieved through precise and thoughtful layout of individual zones. Despite the absence of physical partitions, we clearly delineated the lounge, dining and kitchen areas. We applied intelligent zoning of functions through strategic furniture placement and a multi-level lighting system. Minimalist pendant lamps define the space above the table, while discreet LED lines and spotlights accentuate key architectural elements and build atmosphere after dark. This project is proof that the true art of interior design lies in finding the perfect balance between aesthetics and ergonomics. As a result, a space was created that guarantees timeless elegance and comfort, being not only visually beautiful but above all extremely comfortable and inspiring for everyday living.
