Designer lamps in the apartment Idea for modern lamps in the apartment
Project Name
Apartment design at the Wiślane Tarasy residential estate
Floor-to-ceiling glazing establishes a direct visual connection between the interior and the adjacent outdoor terrace, blurring the boundary between overlapping living zones. The transition to the garden dictates the spatial arrangement within this apartment design at the Wiślane Tarasy residential estate. Natural daylight floods the open plan during the day, requiring a calibrated artificial lighting strategy for the evening. We positioned the primary functional areas to benefit from the external views, aligning the kitchen countertop parallel to the main window axis. This alignment ensures changing natural light interacts continuously with the interior materials.
The selection of fixtures focuses on geometry and texture to contrast with the rigid architectural lines. Designer lamps by Tom Dixon hang directly above the kitchen countertop, serving as both task illumination and spatial dividers. These fixtures utilize a delicate finishing material, absorbing acoustic reverberations. Incorporating sleek pendant lights ensures sightlines toward the terrace remain unobstructed while providing adequate downward illumination. The felt construction adds a tactile dimension, contrasting with the smooth cabinetry and the structural glass – defining the interior character.
Structuring a lighting scheme requires layering different fixtures throughout the space. Modern apartment lamps include sleek pendant lights, minimalist floor lamps, and oversize pendant designs for living rooms. We deploy wall sconces for focal points to highlight architectural features without overwhelming the visual hierarchy. Designers often utilize low-hanging lights for dining areas to establish a localized perimeter of illumination. Integrating an idea for living room lighting and a suspended ceiling allows for concealing the wiring infrastructure. Introducing modern LED lighting provides an indirect glow.
